Players from Sweden, France, Italy, Belgium, Denmark and various parts of Spain will compete in the European Padel Tournament with more than 400 participants from 16 European teams.
The European championship consists of a competition where 16 European federations participate in an open for couples who want to register.
Juan Carlos Maldonado, first vice-president and deputy for Education, Youth and Sport of the Diputación de Málaga, at the presentation of the Championship held at the Centro Cultural Hospital Real de la Misericordia on the European Padel Tournament.

According to the vice president, “The province has more and more fans for this sport” as it currently has 1639 licenses, and also has great references as Carolina Navarro, Bea Gonzalez, Álex Ruiz, Ernesto Moreno, Momo González or Mari Carmen Villalba.

The federations meet at an event in Malaga.
In Spain, between 2009 and 2019, the number of licences increased by 283%. For the first time they surpassed those of tennis. Today the Spanish Padel Federation (FEP) has more than 83,000 federation cards.
